Newport Style Stop-Fluted Stand

Stop-fluted legs and Chinese inspired corner brackets typify mahogany furniture of the 18th century from Newport, Rhode Island. In this class we’ll build a small mahogany stand incorporating lots of Rhode Island embellishments, including stop-fluted or molded legs, pierced corner brackets, cross hatched borders, a molded band set into the skirts and a draw with a beaded surround. You’ll have lots of great details in a compact and useful package. All materials are included as well as sharpening and finish info. 17”x 17”x 26” approx. size
