Hammer Veneering Workshop

This two-day workshop will teach the basics of hammer veneering. Learn how to veneer without using cauls and clamps.

For centuries cabinetmakers have been using hammer veneering to glue down fancy show woods to a plain ground, either flat or curved, without using cauls or clamps. We will cover hide glue and hammer techniques for putting down veneers and bandings on a curved ground. All glue, veneer and stock will be included, as well as information on finishing.
