This is just to let those of you who have wanted me to offer the Newport Tea Table class again that I am- May 16-27 2011. This is a marathon of a class, but well worth the effort. My patterns are from originals- this is exact stuff and we do it right!
It's not in the class section yet, so call or e-mail me if you're interested. I already have one deposit in hand, so there are 7 spaces left. $2700 includes mat.
Also- I'm offering a 6 day class-April 18-23- on building a Dwarf Tall clock- similar to the one I did for the Harbor and Home exhibit. This is a 48" period copy in mahogany that has everything the big clocks have, and you don't need a tall room to put it in. A real gem of a clock. $1200 less movement. Veneering, joinery, fretwork, molding...
Also-Yes there's more-Weekend classes this Fall:
Sept. 25&6- Newport shell
Oct. 2&3- Basic leaf carving for furniture-applied carving for draw fronts, etc.
Oct. 16&17- Carving the ball and claw- Townsend and other variations
All weekend classes $300- size limit is 8.
As soon as my web God gets back from vacation these will be posted in the class section. 50% deposit will get you in, a convincing phone call will hold a space til paypal or check shows up.
Be there or be out of square.......-Al
