I've had some interest in another two week Newport tea table class and will schedule one for the fall if there is enough interest. If there are 5 of you out there, max. 7, I'll run it. Class would be two consecutive weeks, Mon-Sat. noon. Cost would be $2400 and include mat., lunch and plans.
I've done this class before and had a lot of happy students. A good way to make your own 8 million dollar table.-Al

Sounds great, but not realistic for me. I'll tell you what would be great, is a couple more week-long fundamentals courses, to help folks get started. I read the description on the one class you're having this summer and it sounds awesome! Unfortunately, I think I'll still be deployed then, but maybe fall/winter/next year I'll be able to get over there....if my wife lets me out of her sight after being gone or 7 months!
Cheers,
Derek
Derek- Sorry you'll be gone for so long. Tell me when you'll be around and I'll schedule the class again. I think you're right about fundamentals classes. Both the First Things First and 18th c. Case Class are basic and will give you a good jump on hand tools and general stuff that comes in handy on a regular basis.
Tell your wife she'll get some nice hand made furniture.....Al
